#6 Fashion Video
This video, of the Missoni Spring/ Summer 2012 Fashion show was very inspiring to me. I am very interested in the "behind the scenes" aspects of things. Of course getting to see the runway show is amazing and beautiful but there is always lots of hard work and many decisions that go in to such a big event. I liked seeing the inspiration for the make up and hair and seeing how the artists created the looks. Going behind the scenes and getting an inside look gives a different perspective then maybe you had imagined. Its always interesting to see what you thought of a certain look or show and seeing what the designers inspiration was for the same look or show. In this case, after watching the video, we can paint a story in our head, we see a girl who has been dancing all night, therefore the hair and makeup is a little "dirty" and "sweaty" looking. In many ways, fashion videos not only show us what we don't see when watching a show, but it shows us movement. In pictures you can't really see the movement in a gown, how it flows or moves etc. Videos bring everything together, they show us overall what the purpose of the features are, for example: ruffles or feathers or slits. Fashion videos are meant to put you in a certain mood or make you feel a certain emotion. The music choices and layout of the video along with the videos content is all a part of the overall inspiration for the line.

I liked this video not only because of the fashion show, but because of the behind the scene looks as well! I also love the colors Missoni uses in the collection.
I love watching the models have hair and make-up done. It almost gives you a look into what they are like when they aren't being models and are just interacting like normal people. Also, love this collection! My grandma was a flamenco dancer so, I learned to appreciate these styles early-on in.
